FUEL AND EQUIPMENT QUESTIONS
What fuel is used for fire eating?
Naphtha is the only way to fly. Check out the Full Explanation on our blog, Firepedia.
Is Ronsonol the same as White Gas?
In a way, they are both Naphtha products however they have slightly different properties. In a pinch Ronsonal will work, but White Gas is a cheaper, cleaner solution.
Where is the best place to find White Gas? Is Coleman fuel the same as White Gas?
It really depends the country you live in. Typically anywhere you can buy camp stoves you will find White Gas. The regular Colman's Camp Stove fuel is what professionals use.
Can I use juggling torches for fire eating and breathing??
Yes. Just keep in mind that you have to close your mouth fully around the torch to extinguish it in the fire eating stunt, so you'll want to make sure to purchase torches with slightly smaller heads. Also make sure it is constructed with good quality kevlar and no exposed metal wire or screws. Any exposed metal on the head of your torch will get very hot and can burn you as you perform various fire eating stunts.
DVD AND CLASS QUESTIONS
How long does it typically take for shipping?
Expect about 1-2 weeks for shipping and handling. Sometimes it may take up to 3-4 weeks for overseas orders as they are occasionally stopped at customs.
Does the DVD cover Vapor Tricks??
Yes indeed. The DVD covers both the Human Canon and the Human Torch (also known as the volcano).
Does the DVD cover Fire Breathing?
No, however there is a great interview with Tedward on the podcast that sheds a lot of light. Episode 1.
What is the live Fire Eating Workshop like and how much does it cost?
It's a two hour intensive workshop, it cost 60$ and you get a DVD. More information and dates for upcoming classes on the workshop page.
